Our Dalston project management site is located behind the bustling Kingsland Road on Forest Place. The property comprised circa 10,000sqft of partially-derelict commercial space in need of full refurbishment. Our client obtained consent for a rooftop extension and rebuild of the listed facade, to provide 9 apartments and 6,000sqft of commercial space.
Having been appointed post planning consent, Artform Project Management tendered and mobilised a full professional team to create a Stage 4 tender pack to be sent to a selection of main contractors.
We reviewed and optimised the original consent, drawing from our extensive experience to advise on layout changes. These changes were made in order to maximise revenue for the client by adding value and reducing construction costs, and to bring the scheme in line with current fire regulations. We also advised the client that there would be additional value if they submitted an NMA to change the facade and rationalise elements of the construction.
Additionally, we provided financial forecasting and modelling to aid in obtaining funding.
