At Glenhaven Avenue we worked with private investors who’d acquired a plot of land in Hertfordshire. They had an outline planning consent for 6 apartments and employed us to manage the planning process as well as the design, procurement and construction.
Working closely with the investors, we explored several funding options, culminating in obtaining funding from a private arm of a major high street bank.
We dramatically improved the apartment layouts, ensuring the design was as financially efficient as possible.
The site itself had a number of logistical and access issues to overcome. Rather than cause disruptions on Glenhaven Avenue (a busy commercial and residential road), we spoke to the adjoining landowner and set up on their plot. This meant we made construction easier for ourselves whilst maintaining a good relationship with the surrounding businesses and residents.
