Take a pottery class at Hackney City Farm

Our new neighbours on Hackney Road are experts when it comes to clay. On Sunday they’re holding classes with no need to book, just turn up and be ready to get your hands dirty. The farm is usually closed on Mondays but they’re opening their doors this bank holiday. Make sure you say hello to the goats.

Visit the palm house at Kew Gardens

The weather is set to be amazing this weekend, so a visit to Kew and the iconic Victorian palm house, pictured above, is a must. If you take a picnic, there’ll be plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sun.

Eat and boogie with Field Day at Dinerama

This bank holiday, make your way to Dinerama on Great Eastern Street for a festival of delicious Mexican magic, spicy jerk chicken and fresh kebabs. Not forgetting the backing track of Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor. Wash it all down with the free beer that comes with your £10 ticket.

Step into 18th Century England at Dennis Server’s House

Book yourself onto one of the evening tours in the heart of Shoreditch, just a ten minute walk from our Curtain Road development. On Friday and Monday this bank holiday you’ll be able to experience life in an incredible merchant’s house 200 years ago.

Have a meal at Shoreditch’s newest restaurant, Rascals

Just two doors down from our development on Curtain Road, The Hudson, is Ballie Ballerson’s latest endeavour. Rascals has nailed food and cocktails with a menu that features roasted aubergine to die for. But the winning dish has to be the steak – our mouths are watering just thinking about it!

Experience the circus at Aeronaut

We’re very excited about having our Gunnersbury Lane site just a few minutes walk from this eccentric pub in Acton. This bank holiday they’re hosting a special one-off show where the circus meets Star Wars. It’s the sort of place where your ice might melt before you remember to sip your drink. There’s a lot to feast your eyes on.
