CGI to reality at Evagreen, Wandsworth Town
Take a look at our designs for Evagreen alongside the final product, now complete in Wandsworth Town.
After purchasing the site with planning consent to build a yellow London stock building, we decided to alter the façade using a minor material amendment (MMA).
Though submitting an MMA would add time and cost to the project, it would also give us the opportunity to create something special – something we always strive to do.
In collaboration with GPAD and the designers at Scenesmith, we pulled together a palette of tonal glazed bricks from EH Smith – deep forest green and fresh sage.
We then paired the bricks with smooth precast concrete, together creating a warm, verdant façade all year round that would echo the building’s sustainable features.
We’ve loved bringing Evagreen, this collection of 17 homes in Wandsworth Town, to life and are delighted to say that only 2 apartments remain – Nos. 12 & 17.
Ready to move in now, both apartments contain 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with private terraces and sustainable interiors long listed for a Dezeen award. Up top, find a communal roof terrace with micro allotments assigned to each home.
