245 Hackney Road was something a little bit different for Artform. Located just a few minutes’ walk from Hide, our first development on Hackney Road, we couldn’t resist the charm of this prominent corner spot. The site consisted of a duplex residential apartment set within a beautiful listed townhouse, as well as a separate commercial space to the front.
We worked with the talented team at Scenesmith on both the architecture and design to fully refurbish and renovate both the apartment and shop. We achieved planning consent to add a second bedroom within the residential unit and worked alongside an early buyer to create their perfect home. They had sadly missed out on an apartment at Hide and were keen to have an Artform apartment in the same area.
We were delighted to have the team at Avoman take the commercial space for their second fruit and vegetable shop. Click here to read all about the collaboration and the design.
