Richard Townshend
Project Manager
Richard’s interest in buildings started early, spending school holidays helping his dad with carpentry and later labouring on site during a gap year. He went on to study Architecture at the University of Brighton, followed by an MSc in Sustainable Urbanism at The Bartlett.
After university, Richard worked in design-led architecture practices on projects across London, Oxford and Brighton, from homes and commercial spaces to listed buildings and one-off installations. At Artform, he works alongside Ben on project management projects, sitting between clients, professional teams and site. Richard brings clarity to complex technical detail, translating design intent into practical, buildable solutions and keeping projects moving smoothly from concept through to completion.
