Design Coordinator
Kai studied at The Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) before beginning his career with a leading architectural practice. While he enjoyed the discipline, his curiosity for the wider development process led him to broaden his scope – a move that naturally brought him to a Design Coordinator role at Artform.
Working closely with Dave in our Project Management teams, Kai helps bridge the gap between design intent and on-site delivery. Together, they navigate design challenges, ensuring all drawings are translated seamlessly into built reality.
With nearly five years’ experience in a family-run development business, Kai has a strong grounding in unlocking the latent potential of underutilised plots and delivering high-quality, affordable housing. He brings that same problem-solving mindset to Artform, thriving in the hands-on, high-energy environment and forming productive relationships with the many professionals involved in shaping each project.
Above all, Kai is driven by the satisfaction of turning well-crafted designs into beautiful, functional spaces.

What’s been your proudest moment since joining Artform?
Settling into my first project and seeing how quickly the team trusted me to take ownership. It felt great realising I could make a meaningful impact from the moment I joined.

Seeing both the details and the bigger picture at the same time to keep projects moving smoothly.

The office printer only behaves if you approach it with confidence. Any hesitation and it senses weakness.
What has surprised you the most about working at Artform?
The phrase ‘Quick question’ reliably becomes a 30-minute discussion.
